NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the tentative budget for the Village of Maybrook, Orange County, New York, for fiscal year June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 has been completed and filed in the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer of said Village at the Village Office, 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during office hours.

 

FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the Village Board of Trustees shall conduct a Public Hearing upon the tentative budget in the Village Office, 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, NY in said Village at 7PM on the 28th day of April 2025, to review the budget and that all persons interested may be heard in favor or against the tentative budget as compiled or any items therein contained.

 

The maximum compensation proposed to be paid to each member of the Board of Trustees is as follows:

 

Mayor: $22,001,38

Deputy Mayor: $8,435.70

Trustee (3): $8,091.58

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE APPLICATION OF Jude and Rebecca Dure (318 HIGHLAND AVENUE) FOR SUBDIVISION AND SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE PERMIT APPROVAL

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, the 19th day of May, 2025, at 6:00pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, there will be a Public Hearing conducted by the Village of Maybrook Planning Board at Maybrook Village Hall, 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, New York 12543, to provide an opportunity for public comment on the application of Jude and Rebecca Dure for approval of a two-lot residential subdivision and special exception use permit involving a 5.197-acre parcel located at 318 Highland Avenue in the RA-3 District, and shown on the Tax Map thereof as Section 108, Block 1, Lot 18.3. The applicants propose to construct a new single-family dwelling on Lot 1 (±1.316 acres) that will use existing utilities present on Highland Avenue (water and sewer connections), and there is an existing single-family dwelling and above-ground swimming pool that will remain on Lot 2 (±3.881 acres). The applicants also seek approval of a special exception use permit to locate the existing swimming pool on Lot 2 in the side yard pursuant to Village Code § 210-19(A). The Planning Board has classified this application as an Unlisted action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) and has issued a Negative Declaration. 

 

All persons interested will be heard by the Planning Board at the Public Hearing to be held as aforesaid. The Village of Maybrook will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.
