NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW NO. 3 OF 2024 ENTITLED “A LOCAL LAW INSTITUTING A MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS, CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY AND APPROVALS FOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE TRADITIONAL DOWNTOWN DESIGN (TDD) DISTRICT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, the 24th day of June, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, a Public Hearing will be held before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Maybrook, New York, at Village Hall, located at 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, New York, to consider Introductory Local Law No. 3 of 2024.  The purpose of this Introductory Local Law is to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Village of Maybrook and to maintain the status quo as to the issuance of any permits, certificates of occupancy and approvals for development in the Traditional Downtown Design (TDD) district, for a period of six (6) months while the Board of Trustees analyzes and determines potential appropriate revisions and amendments to the Village of Maybrook Zoning Code.  The proposed law is available for public review in the Village Clerk’s office during normal office hours.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF 2024 ENTITLED “A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 99 (“FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION”) OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYBROOK TO IMPLEMENT AN ENTITY DISCLOSURE LAW

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, the 24th day of June, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, a Public Hearing will be held before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Maybrook, New York, at Village Hall, located at 111 Schipps Lane, Maybrook, New York, to consider Introductory Local Law No. 4 of 2024.  The purpose of this Introductory Local Law is to amend Chapter 99 (“Fire Prevention and Building Construction”) of the Code of the Village of Maybrook to implement an entity disclosure law.  The proposed law is available for public review in the Village Clerk’s office during normal office hours.
